License Agreement for the Use of the R7-Office Software Suite

Important — please read carefully: by installing, downloading, or otherwise using the R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) software suite ("R7-Office") and its associated documentation, you, on your own behalf or as an authorized representative of a legal entity, agree to all the terms of this Commercial License Agreement ("Agreement") governing your use of R7-Office. You represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to enter into this Agreement. If you do not agree to all these terms, do not install, download, or otherwise use R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version).

All exclusive rights to R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) and its core components, including the associated documentation, belong to R7 JSC (Russian Federation).

2.1. You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) in accordance with this Agreement, solely on the number of computers and for the period specified in the purchased license.
2.2. We reserve all rights not expressly granted under this Agreement.
2.3. Nothing in this Agreement limits our rights to use R7-Office, grant licenses or sublicenses to it, otherwise derive benefit from it, or authorize third parties to do so.
2.4. To use R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), you must purchase a commercial license offered on the official website at http://www.r7-office.ru/en/.
2.5. Upon receipt of the license fee, we will send you a license key together with instructions for installing and activating R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version).
2.6. You must activate your copy of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) by entering the supplied license key in the appropriate field.
2.7. After the license key expires, access to and use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) is unlawful. You may extend the period of lawful use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) by purchasing the appropriate license and entering a new license key in the appropriate field in the copy of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) installed on your computer.
2.8. We may change the license fee for any future period of your use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) at any time without prior notice.
2.9. We guarantee that your copy of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) will contain no advertising materials throughout the validity period of your commercial license key.
2.10. Your license for R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) is valid for the validity period of your key.

3.1. You may not modify the source code, binary code, object code, and/or files containing R7-Office resources in any way, including by altering, removing, or concealing copyright notices, patent notices, trademarks, or attribution contained therein.
3.2. You may not copy the functions, features, original components, or graphical elements of R7-Office.
3.3. You must not obstruct the normal operation of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) or compromise its integrity, operational characteristics, or the data it contains.
3.4. You may not remove, conceal, or tamper with any logo, copyright notice, attribution, trademark, warning, or disclaimer accompanying, included in, or otherwise applicable to R7-Office.
3.5. You may not use the trade names, service marks, or product names of R7 JSC, except as necessary for the reasonable and customary use of R7-Office.

4.1. You must not provide third parties with access to your license key(s). You must take all reasonable measures to prevent such third parties from obtaining your license key(s).
4.2. You may use a license key on only one device. If you wish to use R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) on more devices, you must purchase additional license keys.
4.3. You must not attempt to disassemble, reverse engineer, analyze, decompile, or convert your copy of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), or permit third parties to do so.

5.1. R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) may receive updates from time to time, during which the current software version is replaced with a new software version, provided that your license type grants you the right to receive updates. New versions of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) may include enhancements, fixes, and security updates.
5.2. When updating R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), we may change the functionality of the software and amend the text of the Agreement.
5.3. If an update requires your confirmation, you may, at your discretion:
5.4. Accept the update, obtain the new software version and, where applicable, accept amendments to the terms of the Agreement; or
5.5. Decline the update and retain the current software version.
5.6. If you decline an update to R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), you must acknowledge the consequences of using an outdated software version and independently take measures to ensure operational security and protect your data.
5.7. The right to receive updates to R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), including new versions and releases, is granted for the period specified in the Certificate (a paper or electronic document confirming ownership of a license for R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) and specifying the software name, the list of license keys, and the validity period of the right to software updates), if the vendor provides for the issuance of such a Certificate, or for the period specified in the vendor’s licensing rules. After that period expires, versions of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) published after the expiry of the update entitlement may be used only if a new update entitlement (license) is purchased. The update entitlement must be purchased in accordance with the total number of licenses you hold.
5.8. Software Warranty Terms:
5.8.1. During the validity period of the update entitlement, and provided that you use the latest available software version (N) or the preceding version (N–1), R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) is subject to the terms set out in the Software Warranty Terms document published at: https://r7-office.ru/en/doc/garantee#retail;
5.8.2. If critical issues arise in version N–1, you should update to the current version;
5.8.3. Support for earlier versions, older than N–1, is not guaranteed;
5.8.4. Updates and bug fixes are released exclusively for the latest current version (N);
5.8.5. The Software Warranty Terms form an integral part of the license to use R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) and do not constitute a separate service. They are intended solely to ensure that the software operates in accordance with its intended functionality and are provided at no additional charge.

6.1. R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties, except for the Software Warranty Terms referred to in Clause 5.8, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall R7 JSC or the authors or copyright holders of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) be liable for any claims, damages (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, or incidental damages), or other liability, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version) or other dealings in R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version). In any event, the liability of R7 JSC for any damage caused to you shall be limited to the amount of the license fee you paid under this Agreement.

7.1. We shall not be liable for any problems with R7-Office that are not directly attributable to it. Such problems include, without limitation, incompatibility or conflicts with any software or hardware, local network malfunctions, the absence of a proper Internet connection, failure to meet the technical requirements for R7-Office published at www.r7-office.ru/en/, and similar issues.

8.1. We may amend or supplement this Agreement at any time with respect to any future period of your use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version).
8.2. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
8.3. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and R7 JSC and governs your use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version), except as otherwise provided in, and in addition to, any separate agreement you have entered into on this subject.
8.4. This Agreement supersedes any previous or formerly effective versions of this Agreement concerning the use of R7-Office Professional (Desktop Version).
8.5. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
