R7 Grows Its Revenue in 2025
R7, a developer of Russian office software, is reporting preliminary results for 2025, showing steady growth

The key growth drivers were an expanding customer base, more licenses shipped, and the strategic development of partnerships with leading digital platforms.

In 2025, the company’s revenue grew to 3.3 billion rubles under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), and the total number of corporate customers exceeded 8,000.

As the B2G sales market contracted in 2025, corporate users and digital platforms supported the company’s main performance indicators. The company delivered more than 2.15 million licenses in 2025 alone.

According to 2025 data, about 75% of R7 employees work directly on software development and support, and headcount in these departments grew by more than 20%. This talent base lets R7 respond quickly to market demand and release the updates customers need.

During the year, the company released more than 50 major updates. A significant share of them affected Document Editor functionality, the messenger with video conferencing features in R7 Team, the email service, and other modules of the R7 Office ecosystem for collaboration and productivity.

In 2025, both new and existing customers continued to choose R7 solutions. They include Sber, Rosseti, OrVD, PhosAgro, and many others. Some purchases were repeat orders, made after several years of using the products.

“2025 was a period of consolidating our achievements and developing strategically. We see the Russian software market maturing: customers want complete solutions that are integrated into ecosystems. In a difficult market, we are strengthening our position largely thanks to the customers who trust us and the team that builds the solutions they need. The growth of our customer base and licenses, especially in the corporate segment and on digital platforms, confirms that we are moving in the right direction,” says R7 CEO Evgeny Shelkovnikov.

The year’s landmark event was the technology partnership between VK Tech and R7, which produced a unified offering for users and customers.

R7 Office strengthened its position as a leading cloud document editor, available at the same time in the two largest Russian ecosystems: VK WorkSpace and Yandex 360. This integration gives millions of users on these platforms a convenient, modern tool for working with documents.

During the year, the company signed a number of strategic agreements with several regions, including the Republic of Tatarstan, Amur Region, and Khabarovsk Krai, covering free licenses and information support. At the same time, the developer deepened its cooperation with leading educational institutions, including Lomonosov Moscow State University and RANEPA, which helps integrate R7 solutions into teaching and research.

In June, R7 Team also won the 3rd National IT Award “Priority: Digital — 2025” and received the TAdviser IT PRIZE for digitalizing business processes. The successes continued in the fall: in November, R7 Office was named best platform solution at the National “Digital Solutions” Award, and R7 Mail received a CNews AWARDS 2025 award in the “Corporate Email Solution of the Year” category.
